Registration Process

Thank you choosing IdeaSecure to register your work. Registration is a straightforward, five step process.

Step One : Personal Details

You will be asked to complete a form with your personal details, to ensure we accurately record who owns the
work to be registered. You should also choose a password in case you need to request your file from us in the future.
You will be given the opportunity to review IdeaSecure's Terms and Conditions. Then press 'Click to Continue'.

Step Two : Choosing a Protection Duration

You have a choice of protection for 1, 2 or 3 years. This page also shows the credit and debit card types we accept.
Choose a duration, then click 'Continue to Payment'. This will take you to our secure payment area, powered by Secpay,
the UK's leading internet payment service provider.

Step Three : Secure Payment

You'll be asked to complete your credit/debit card details on our secure server. Click 'Authorise' to pay for the protection
duration you selected. You will then be taken to Step Four - the file upload page.

We cannot accept uploads without an authorised payment first. This is because the payment process instantly allocates
5mb of unique secure server space for each upload.

Step Four : Upload Your File

You can now upload your file to our secure server by clicking 'Browse' to locate your file on your computer. You will be
asked for a title and a brief description of the file, as this information will be recorded on your IdeaSecure certificate.
Click 'Upload Your File' to start the uploading process. Please be patient with larger files, as they may take longer.

Step Five : Registration Completed

Once the upload has finished, you'll see a 'Thank You' message advising that your registration is a success. You will
receive an instant email confirming your registration and unique IdeaSecure Serial Number. Your certificate will follow
within 24-48 hours. At this stage, your work will be instantly and securely protected.
